The development in biotechnology has been fast, but its sustainability is still questionable. It is a reason for our responsibility to keep an eye and follow the developments, especially in such a sensitive area that may have big impact on personal health. Also, it is the main idea for 5th ISSD2014 and bringing the key people in this area, that will help each other understand where biotechnology goes, and what kind of assistance we need to ensure the sustainable development of this field.
