BURCH achieved a victory for the A1 league

Third, decisive semi-final match of play-off in A2 League of Bosnia and Herzegovina played between basketball clubs Burch and Iskra from Bugojno, has brought new excitement and uncertain game until the last minutes of the match.

However, at key moments and in breaking points of the match players of Burch showed more grit and concentration, and reached the winning score of 71-67. With this win Burch players, and full time students, secured themselves a place in the final game of the play-off, as well as passing to the higher level of competition – A1 league.

Players of club Burch during the entire match had the generous support of fans who did not spare their voice or palms, and according to coach Kemal Šećerović, this support stand out as very important, if not crucial factor in this game.

– „Beside players and their fighting spirit, as every time until now, fans were very important, if not the most standing factor for the victory. Definitely, none of this would be possible without them, as they are and were sixth and seventh player on the field, „said Šećerović. „With all my heart I want to thank fans for the generous support“.

With this victory basketball players, and full time students, were able to achieve all goals and objectives for which they have worked hard, and bravely fought during the last few months. From becoming champion of A2 league to the final of the play-offs, and passing in the A1 league, this team showed great courage, strength, and sport knowledge.

And that’s exactly why in the final game the team entered more relaxed and without pressure, which confirmed coach Šećerović.
– „We have achieved the goal that we have set, and it is passing to the A1 league. Surely the final two matches will be more relaxed, but of course we will not stop fighting and we will try to beat Lukavac, which has a great team, but we’re also a great“expressed his optimism coach Šećerović before the final of play-off in A2 league.
