The team comprised of three employees from Burch University, International Office coordinator, Emina Mekić, Deputy of Secretary-General, Mensur Zoletić and Senior Teaching Assistant, Ensar Mekić, took part in international mobility week (Erasmus +) in Poland from 16th of October to 20th of October, 2017.
During these five days, according to professional background of Burch’s staff, they were engaged in various teaching, cultural, academic activities, but also participated in many important events which were part of this international mobility week.
On 18th of October, 2017, Emina Mekić and Mensur Zoletić presented International Burch University to representatives from different universities in Argentina, Bolivia, Montenegro, Georgia, Mexico, Poland, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the presentation, joint international cooperation opportunities have been discussed by the representatives from different countries.
Ensar Mekić gave a number of lectures to different groups of students at University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin. The topics of lectures were about Quality Management and Digital Transformation of Business.
On 19th of October, 2017, Emina Mekić and Mensur Zoletić presented country Bosnia and Herzegovina to both staff and students of University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin, but also to all representatives from eight different countries. Attendees were able to learn about history, economy, culture, tradition and touristic destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, stand of International Burch University was prepared on the premises of University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin for all those who would like to learn more about IBU. A number of students and staff from different countries shown interest and attended this stand to learn more about IBU. On the same day, Burch representatives attended a joint dinner where they exchanged contacts with other representatives for purposes of future international and scientific research cooperation.
Burch University representatives had an opportunity to visit a wonderful city of Zamość, and learn more about the history of Poland, and wisdom of its generations and came back to Sarajevo with great memories, new experiences, broader scientific research network, broader horizons, new contacts and ideas for future international and scientific research cooperation.
