HEA Director Visited Burch University

Assist. Prof. Dr. Husein Nanić, the Director of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance in Bosnia and Herzegovina (HEA) visited the International Burch University on 27th of December, where he was accepted by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Uzunoğlu, Rector, Assist Prof. Dr. Günay Karlı, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Admir Salihagić, Secretary General, Mr. Sci. Esad Oruč, Director of Social Sciences Research Center (SSRC) and Ensar Mekić from Office for Standardization and Quality Assurance .

The main topic of the discussion between hosts and Director Nanić was the ongoing accreditation process of higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, internal and external quality assurance system, scientific research and legal regulation in the country related to the Bologna education system.

Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Uzunoğlu informed the Director Nanić on current educational activities and processes taken for the improvement of the education quality, innovations and projects taken to give a new path for the University, and actions on standardization and quality assurance, which will help the University went through the future accreditation process easily.

The Director of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Assist. Prof. Dr. Husein Nanić emphasized need for starting the accreditation process soon, as it will be a proof for education quality and opportunity for official recognition of one educational institution in country and abroad.
