IATEFL Teacher Training and Education Program

Organized by International Burch University, Association for Applied Linguistics in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AALBiH), British Council, IATEFL and Teacher Training Program training started at Burch campus on 23rd of January, 2015. Although announced for 22nd of January, due to speakers flights cancellation training was postponed one day.

On behalf of organizers Burch University – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azamat Akbarov, Dean of Faculty of Education, and British Council – Samir Avdibegović addressed in the opening ceremony. They both expressed their pleasure of being part of this organization, and promised continuation of such activities in future.

Around 80 participants applied and attended first day of seminar, that covered topics as „New Trends in ELT“, „New Trends in ELT Workshops“ and „TKT Teacher Knowledge Test“ . Training attendants used the breaks ad opportunity to connect with each other and for brainstorming on common difficulties that they meet in work within their institutions.

The training and education program will be continued tomorrow and all attendees will get the attendance certificates.
