September 8, 2010President of Republic of Turkey Mr. Abdullah Gul together with BH Presidency Chairman Dr. Haris Silajdzic and BH Presidency Member Zeljko Komsic officially opened new premises of International Burch University on 3rd of September, Friday. Opening ceremony was attended by many officials, delegations, institutions representatives and other dear guests who amplified this moment very important for University and Bosna Sema Educational Institutions.
Opening ceremony program was started by FSM Choir performance and reading of Ottoman Sultan the Conquerors Ahitname, which as one of the important written proof of ensuring human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovinas history and because of its importance presented as gift to Mr. Abdullah Gul.
After that on behalf of Supreme Board of International Burch University, Mr. Mustafa Ozcan addressed to audience. He talked about the efforts of Bosna Sema Educational Institutions and their success in the country.
BH Presidency Chairman Dr. Haris Silajdzic expressed his pleasure seeing the developing “education nest“, as Mr. Silajdzic called the because of its three private university and private primary and high schools settled in Ilidza Municipality. He stated his expectations on success of these projects by itself and altogether which will be one step forward for future of people in BH. He also congratulated the International Burch University on new premises opening.
President of Republic of Turkey Mr. Abdullah Gul expressed his delight seeing Bosnia and Herzegovina and its similarity to Bursa and Uskudar. Common culture and history is the connection between two countries and as President said, the schools established by Turkish founders will strengthen these relations too.
After these short speeches President of Republic of Turkey Mr. Abdullah Gul with Mrs. Gul, BH Presidency Chairman Dr. Haris Silajdzic, BH Presidency Member Zeljko Komsic, Turkish Minister for Industry and Commerce Mr. Nihat Ergün, Federal Minister of Education Mrs. Meliha Alic, Sarajevo Canton Minister of Education Safet Keso, IBU Supreme Board Member Mr. Mustafa Ozcan, Turkish Ambassador to BH H.E. Vefahan Ocak, IBU Rector Prof. Dr. Huseyin Padem and Ilidza Municipality Major Amer Cenanovic cutting the red ribbon officially opened new International Burch University premises.
