“Stand-up Comedy Discourse in Light of the General Theory of Verbal Humor”

Professor gave a very interesting lecture on the topic “Stand-up Comedy Discourse in Light of the General Theory of Verbal Humor”, which gave insight to our students that even something they watch for entertainment can be connected to the field of linguistics.

Students enjoyed the lecture a lot and were eager to ask questions of their interest in the end. This was a last lecture for this academic year by Faculty of Education, but we are already looking forward to the next academic year which will bring new prominent guests and new lectures from different fields of language studies and literature.
