On May 5th, 2016, Prof. Dr. Teoman Duman, Rector of BURCH University a visit to the University of Bihac. Guest from BURCH University were hosted by Prof. Dr. Mirsad Veladžić, rector of the University of Bihać, and deans of Faculty of Law, Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences and Faculty of Technical Sciences.
Purpose of the meeting was to enhance an already established cooperation between the two institutions. In particular, the two sides discussed possibilities of holding joint conferences on the current academic, scientific and social issues, as well as to cooperate through different international projects. In addition, representatives of the two institutions presented their potential in regards to infrastructure, scientific facilities and human resources, clearly expressing common readiness to share those resources for mutual benefit.
Talking to the media representatives after the meeting, Prof. Dr. Veladžić stated that BURCH University is a renowned educational institution for reaching significant level within the scientific and academic work given the general conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina in terms of higher education. On behalf of Bihac University, Prof. Dr. Veladžić expressed contentment for having opportunity to closely cooperate with BURCH University.
