Students Field Trip to Al-Jazeera Balkans

The students were greeted warmly by the local staff Melina Kamerić and Amira Dizdar, who gave the students a private detour around the facilities and opportunity to see control rooms well as assignment desk and the newest technological devices. The complex production processes behind the camera, as well as the feeling of standing in a TV studio, was a great experience, and they learned about the most important professions in the media field.

Question-and-answer session helped students to learn more about the necessary skills of the newscaster, the news presenter, reported and producer. Also, they found out more about professional relationship between superiors and members of the team, as well as the importance of team work in the media field.Students expressed their pleasure, gratitude and satisfaction of this visit, which was a real asset for them to have a closer look at the media world. 

After the tour was completed, Dr. Senad Bećirović presented hosts a small token of appreciation on behalf of the University. Both sides’ representatives expressed their hope for future cooperation.
